UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHER, DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING, LEHIGH UNIVERSITY

  • Investigated compiler techniques for advanced synchronization on multi-core CPUs

  • Further improved the "HybridRing" algorithm’s scalability

May 2020 - August 2020

UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHER, INTELLIGENT AND SCALABLE SYSTEMS REU, LEHIGH UNIVERSITY

  • Designed a new synchronization algorithm "HybridRing" leveraging bit vectors and Intel Transactional Synchronization Extensions

  • Developed static transformations in LLVM to reduce instrumentation overhead

  • Achieved >7% improvement on common transactional memory workloads

August 2019 - May 2020

COMPUTER AND ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENTS LEADER, STUDENT DESIGN COMPETITION, UPRM

  • Designed, developed and tested software and hardware using Arduino and OrCAD of a paper-tower-builder robot

  • Led 5 members from two departments
